Electric Brake System
The MPS Commander 3400 mobile camera trailer has an electric brake system equipped with battery backup that meets and exceeds D.O.T. breakaway braking requirements for trailers. The brakes can be used during transport or to hold the trailer in place while deploying. The standard 7-WAY plug system with individual brake control and constant power from the vehicle allows for ease of use and maximum vehicle compatibility.
Heavy Duty Trailer Base & Supports
This solid, industrial grade trailer base is coated to resist corrosion for years of problem-free use even in harsh environments and road conditions. MPS also provides extra heavy duty mounts for the tongue jacks and does not use the normally supplied mounting hardware. This important modification makes the unit even more stable and reliable. In addition, the outriggers can be adjusted from 5′, 7.5′ or 10′ to create a robust stance during deployment.
Optional Forklift Mounts
MPS offers a forklift bracketing system that allows you to forklift the trailer from the side, ensuring the safety of the equipment while loading and unloading. The forklift mounts sit under the fenders to ensure the trailer will not slip on the forklift tongs. Because the forklift mounts span the tires and are located on the center of the load, the mounts are positioned to ensure safe off-loading of the trailer. This system is for side loading only.
Internal Cam Rack to Protect Hardware
Cameras should always be removed from the mast during transport to prevent damage and keep them clean. The camera rack can securely store almost any camera type or brand and provides a safe and secure storage during travel or when the cameras are not in use. The cameras are simply screwed into the camera mounts attached to the cameras for easy storage and removal. In the event you need to access items under the rack, it quickly releases and pulls up.
