MPS Attends MCPA Law Enforcement Expo

MPS solutions consultants, Karl Olson and Jeron Stiffler, were on hand to greet visitors and demo products at this year’s 2023 Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association (MCPA) Law Enforcement Expo. The Expo was part of the MCPA’s annual Executive Training Institute conference which was held at the Duluth convention center April 11 – 14, 2023.

One of the highlights of the Expo was having customers stop by to say hello and tell us how they’re using their trailers and pole mounted Sentry units. One police chief told us how they decided to set up their Commander 3400 near an apartment building that was having a lot of problems. Unfortunately, later that very same day, a homicide occurred at the building. They credited the Commander’s video and audio recordings as a major factor in solving the case. Many visitors were also impressed with the MPStatus Dashboard and its situational awareness capabilities.

The MCPA represents approximately 500 current and retired law enforcement and public safety leaders. The organization provides information, resources, peer-to-peer support and represents its members on legislative, regulatory and community issues related to crime, public safety and law enforcement. Each year they sponsor the Law Enforcement Expo which is the largest exhibit of public safety products and services in the Midwest.
