‘Guardian Trailers’ Increase Safety in Downtown Eugene, Oregon

The Eugene, Oregon, police department was featured in a KMTR news report that highlights their new ‘Guardian Trailers’ program which places Falcon 3100 and Commander 3400 trailers from Mobile Pro Systems around the city. KMTR reports that although the program has been in place for just a few months, reaction from the city residents and business owners has been very positive. The article* quotes a downtown food cart vendor who made the following observation:

“The violence has gone away, the vandalism has gone away the last two months and it’s been a lot of positive feedback from the customers. And as an owner here, we feel much more comfortable.”
