We have to admit, stability is not the most glamorous of words. After all, what on earth would be special about something being stable? When it comes to mobile surveillance products, however, having a stable platform is an extremely important and often overlooked feature.
The recording quality of cameras sitting at the top of 18’ or 33’ masts can be greatly diminished by excess movement caused by wind. If the cameras sway or shift too much, the images they’re capturing are not clear and it requires more video data to record them. This in turn fills up the available video data storage much faster.
Stability is important during transport too. Our trailer enclosures have racking systems that secure cameras and protect electronics from jarring and bumps when traveling. Because MPS trailers can be towed anywhere a vehicle can safely go—they’re ready to roll when you are!
