Our platforms help disaster teams do more.

If we had to sum up January 2025 using just one word, it would be extreme. By the end of the first week, hot, dry hurricane-force Santa Ana winds scorched Los Angeles County and southern California. Mid-month, a polar vortex eclipsed the Midwest with dangerous wind chills and dropped record-setting snowfalls along the Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida. It seems like the new normal is as far from what we would consider normal as it could possibly be.
Thanks to weather models and technology, forecasting can at least warn us about what’s coming. But it’s the aftermath of these events that leave communities reeling. The catastrophic damage left behind stretches emergency resources beyond capacity and creates dangerous conditions for the public. It can be too much for local authorities to monitor, let alone control.
As these events occur more frequently and increase in severity, we wanted to share a trend we’ve noticed in the past few years: Our mobile surveillance trailers and camera systems are among the first tools that law enforcement and emergency responders deploy following a disaster.
While agencies may initially acquire our products to support their crime-fighting programs, they soon recognize their value as force-multipliers during large-scale emergencies. When every hand is needed on deck, having remote surveillance video that can be accessed from any authorized team member is a huge help.
